Bazel

Bazel is a build automation tool.[1]

Installed Version

Bazel 0.3.1 and 0.5.4 are installed. Use the appropriate module file:

bazel/0.3.1 bazel/0.5.4

Compiling

Prerequisites

• Java Dev Kit 1.8.0
• Python 2.7 (Python 3 will not work)

Environment

Bazel seems to have trouble with the shell environment. Set these to work around:

JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-oracle.x86_64
